Red Arrow Merlin XMS13 (JLA 64D) was built in 1966, converted to Red Arrow format in 1967, but didn't actually enter service until 1968. Here we see it on 1 June 1968 immediately before starting work on the 500 service, which it only operated for one year. In 1970 it was reconfigured again and became MB13.
